Dharma Art for Recovery and Beyond: Session II: Clouds in the Paper

Dharma Art: For Recovery and Beyond, Session II

This is a series of creativity workshops created especially for people in addiction recovery, to enhance and develop those skills that foster resilience and open spirit in life--but open and relevant to anyone who wants an intimate relationship with their creativity, playfulness, interactive skills, and joy!   Each two hour session includes a short guided meditation and creative exploration, in a friendly, welcoming community.  The classes all draw on the twelve step program philosophy of surrender, personal accountability, and spiritual growth through peer support.  Please join us if you would like to explore these qualities in a warm and playful way!

Clouds in the Paper      Saturday, November 7, 10:00 am to noon.  Looking at the impermanence and interdependence of all things, we’ll connect to our feelings and intuition, and create something from that place, using color and black and white art media. This session will gently invite us to explore self care, self compassion, vulnerability, and uncertainty.

All materials are provided. No art skill or previous experience required. Interest of familiarity with Buddhist practice a plus but not a requirement. Suggested donation of $20 per class. Register in advance, as space is limited. To register, or with questions: email jilleggers9@gmail.com.
